Dr. McSweeney was born in Cork, Ireland and has lived in New Jersey since 1986 when he started practicing Chiropractic Medicine in the city of Newark. He opened the door to his private practice “Mount Prospect Health Center” in 1989 focusing on family and general chiropractic and then expanding to acupuncture and pain management.
His bi-cultural background and focus on community collaboration and participation has led him to many volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles. Dr. McSweeney graduated from undergraduate school at McNeese University in Lake Charles Louisiana and received his chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College.
Dr. McSweeney is certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia, he is a member of both, the New Jersey Chiropractic Society and American Chiropractic Society; he is also a board member of the Mount Prospect Partnership and director of Mayor Quintana’s Health Program.
Dr. Marcus Paul is a chiropractor at Mount Prospect Health Center in Newark, New Jersey. He specializes in spinal adjustments, physical assessments, injury rehabilitation, and the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
A graduate of Northeast College of Health Sciences, Dr. Paul has expertise in sports science, human performance, biomechanics, and personalized recovery planning. He also has experience treating patients injured in motor vehicle accidents, including those experiencing neck pain, back pain, whiplash, muscle strain, and reduced mobility.
Through detailed evaluations and individualized care plans, Dr. Paul helps patients reduce pain, restore function, improve movement, and achieve their personal health goals.

Jaleela Jackson is a licensed Occupational Therapist dedicated to helping individuals return to their most valued roles and daily occupations. She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Pace University, where she developed a deep commitment to client-centered care and active listening. Jaleela believes that effective therapy begins with understanding each patient’s personal goals and daily routines.
As a recent graduate, Jaleela brings an up-to-date, evidence-based perspective and innovative therapeutic approaches to her clinical practice. Her mission is to support patients through progressive strengthening, task adaptation, environmental modification, and activity maintenance to directly improve overall quality of life.
